NEWTON, MASSACHUSETTS — Movement Mortgage, the nation’s sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of senior loan officer Kevin Flannery to its team serving Boston and Newton, Massachusetts.

Flannery (NMLS #21393) brings to Movement over 25 years of home financing experience. He most recently spent four years at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation following 15 years in a similar role at Loan Depot. Earlier in his career, the Michigan native worked in auto manufacturing and business management.

“I’m very excited to be with a company that understands that integrity and helping others is a real method of business, not just a marketing slogan,” said Flannery, who is proud of the fact that the majority of his business comes from current clients and their referrals. He’s regularly recognized by Scotsman Guide as a Top 100 loan officer in the US and was rated a level “A” service provider for eight consecutive years with Angie (formerly Angie’s list).

Flannery will be instrumental in helping borrowers in his region finance a new home or refinance their current home. Part of his success comes from effectively counseling homebuyers and creating beneficial borrower alternatives through diversified products and strategies. “Listening to the homebuyer, exploring options, keeping current with new programs, and being responsive before and after the loan has closed are top priorities for me,” he added.

“Having spent so much time in the industry, Kevin has seen it all,” says Sherry Fonseca (NMLS# 22136), a Movement Market Leader in the Boston area. “He is a wealth of knowledge to his clients, their children and family, and friends they’ve recommended. Kevin is very versed in program knowledge and interest rates.”

A graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, Flannery is a past president of the Business Network International’s (BNI) Needham Network Exchange and is an avid off-shore sailor. Vice president of the local Little League baseball board, USA certified alpine ski racing official. He, his wife, and three children live in Waban, MA.
